Book Submission Guidelines
Rupture Press places book proposals under a blind peer-review. We used non-paid academic networks of authors and collaborators for support. If a proposal is accepted, aside from formatting/typesetting, the work will appear as the authors submit it to us. The manuscript will undergo inspection, but if easily detectable errors are found, then the manuscript will be sent back to the authors. Because of the open-access, the most affordable academic paperbacks and author copies, we need the authors to take increasing responsibility in matters of copy editing, index and, overall, producing the final work you want to see published. We will, however, provide supportive guides. Rupture Press will recommend copy-editing services in collaboration with the authors and the design for the printable and electronic editions of the books.
Rupture Press is truly nonprofit, all money goes to purchasing ISBNs, typesetting/ formatting, hosting websites, paper, ink and pressing the books. Authors will get between 1-2 Euros for every copy sold (approximately 10% royalty rate). This requires authors to do more work to finalize what they want to produce with Rupture Press.

The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word [preferred], or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for permanent full text references and DOIs for clickable full text articles have been provided.
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references and quotations. Authors should make sure they are correct, in substance and style.
Ensuring a Blind Review guidelines are followed:
The authors of the document have deleted their names from the text, with "Author" and year used in the references and footnotes, instead of the authors' name, article title, etc.
With Microsoft Office documents, author identification should also be removed from the properties for the file (see under File in Word), by clicking on the following, beginning with File on the main menu of the Microsoft application: File > Save As > Tools (or Options with a Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from file properties on save > Save.
With PDFs, the authors' names should also be removed from Document Properties found under File on Adobe Acrobat's main menu.
Do add 'line numbers' to the document if you know how. It helps the referees enormously.
Please see our guide to making an index: HERE [NOT AVAILABLE YET].
